Must have hands on experience working in a large company with strong Managed services, and strategy.
This position will provide overall direction for all facets of services related to the Managed Services portfolio.  He/she will lead a cross-functional team of resources to facilitate the ongoing growth of our managed services business segment.  The position will be responsible for, among other things, staffing decisions and team makeup, financial management and profitability, and customer satisfaction.  S/he is also responsible for driving accountability throughout the Managed Services organization and with key stakeholders across the company. He/she will establish and maintain successful internal relationships to ensure an effective working environment, and will manage their team to do the same. 
  • Provide thought leadership for the ongoing evolution of the Cloud and on-prem Managed Services offerings portfolio.
  • Establish the strategy, operating model, and service level agreements for Managed Services, aligned with our overall corporate and marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with and support regional sales & marketing teams in their efforts to generate new leads and move existing pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales organization to properly assess customer requirements and appropriately scope and price winning proposals
  • Manage the delivery of Managed Services engagements to provide outstanding customer service that is in accordance with as-bid scope and financials
  • Manage and maintain client relationships to foster services renewal and growth
  • Routinely report project status, risks and growth opportunities to executive staff as well as escalate impactful issues and resolutions in a timely manner
  • Provide ongoing training and leadership to the Sales organization regarding the offerings portfolio
  • Manage the quality, accuracy and consistency of all pre-sales and project deliverables to ensure that standards, templates and processes are followed by all staff members
  • Create performance metrics for team members that align with customer-facing SLAs and objectives
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance our service to our customers.
  • Participate as necessary in presentations and selling activity for key customers 
  • Experience selling and delivering managed services
  • Strong business and project management background
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing IT managed services, with leadership overseeing staff in a multi-location environment (US and India)
  • Experience managing P&L for programs in the range of $30-50M
  • Extensive experience with IT Managed Services including Oracle Database/System Administration, Infrastructure Managed Services, Application Managed Services
  • Prefer experience with Cloud Services required to support a broad portfolio of applications and technologies (Oracle ERP, Salesforce, BI, Hyperion, SharePoint)
